Envirotech Education participated in the National Innovation Games in the region of Northern New South Wales and Southern Queensland and first second and third prises were won by our teams.

The National Innovation Games is a series of Innovation Challenges to be held in every State and Territory of Australia between August 2019 and June 2021.

Funded by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, the vision is to see emerging talent, small to medium businesses, corporates, industry and the research sector coming together to innovate in the economic and social interest of the nation.

Delivered by Paddl Co. and COSBOA, the National Innovation Games addressed major topics relevant to small and medium businesses, which will include the effective management of Australia’s landfill to the protection of the Great Barrier Reef to identifying commercial opportunities for Sustainable Food producers to building out a supply chain to support autonomous vehicle manufacturing.

Envirotech’s participation in the national innovation games ensures that we are aware of the different council priority employment skills sets, and we prepare our learners to compete on employers’ solutions to their real problems during the games after they assessed local industry and businesses workforce development needs in the innovation hub.
